Me: Which bow do you want to wear?
Eden: I don't want to wear a bow. I want to wear a crown!

Eden about her Sunday School class: I ate gummies and I colored God.

Eden about a bunch of pigeons at the park: They're pretttttyyyyy!!!

Eden: I can lift this blanket up! I'm strong!

Eden pronounces "animal" like "aminal."

Parker: I told Eden something really nice. I told her that I liked her songs. (She's constantly making up songs and singing gibberish.)

Eden: Turn on the music so I can dance!

Parker: Don't come in here and look, Mommy!

Eden: You know it!

Parker: "Let me tell you what..." or "I'm gonna tell ya what..." and then he'll explain something.

Me turning up the radio: I love this song!
Parker: It's a little too loud.

Parker pronounces "magazine" like "magerzine", "distracted" like "extracted", "restaurant" like "resternant", "exercise" like "extracize", and "disgusting" like "custusting."

Eden: I have a big belly!

Eden about Cinderella: Cinderella's not nice. Cinderella's a bad driver. (I'm assuming Cinderella must have been the bad guy and crashed her car when playing with Parker.)

Me: You're so pretty.
Eden: You're so pretty too. Can I have a snack?

Me: Eden, what are you doing?
Eden: I'm taking my clothes off! I'm going to be nakey!

Eden: I want something yummy! or I want something healthy!

Eden: I'm doing good! I'm super fast! (She's so not fast!)

Eden's commentary of the Super Bowl halftime show: I want that dress! She has a star! She's being carried! Why she dancing like that? They're hugging!

Eden: I need a break from naps!

Parker: Eden, that is not appropriate.

Par: Eden, you look pretty.
Eden: I love you.

Parker: Edes, have you been over here? I see some sparkles!

Parker after I'd spent the better part of the morning getting on to him: Mommy, you're having a really bad day.

Par: Our dog is perfect!

Eden: I'm the leader!!!

Eden currently refers to herself as whatever dress up costume she is wearing. So, when she has on an Aurora dress I'll hear "Aurora is coloring!" Or when she's wearing a Minnie Mouse dress, "Minnie Mouse is jumping on the bed!"

Parker at the end of Christmas Day: I'm never going to bed!

Me: I love you.
Par: I love you too.
Me: I'm proud of you.
Par: I'm proud of you too.

Eden: Is that my cake?
Me: No, it's for baby Jesus's birthday!
Eden: Will baby Jesus share?

Me: And y'all know what happens at birthday parties...
Eden: Dance!!!

Me: Night night, sweet Edie!
Eden: Night night, sweet Mommy!

Eden: I want to wear my crown to bed so I can be a princess while I sleep.

As I was standing in front of the full length mirror while getting ready Eden pushed me out of the way and said, "It's my turn!"
