The Big 3-0!

I am officially a member of the 30 club. And it's not bad. :) Although I've been celebrating for a while with friends and family, dinners and pampering, my actual birthday was Saturday. Here's how I spent the day:


Breakfast at Frothy Monkey in Downtown Franklin.

Sampling and purchasing peaches.

Long morning walk. P loved watching the horses and fussed when we continued our walk.

Browsing an estate sale. I came home with this crystal pitcher and filled it with hydrangeas from Gramps's bush in our backyard.

Dessert at home on the back patio in my pjs with my favorite person.

Happy Father's Day!

So I know I gush about Parker (and Darcy too!) constantly on the blog, but I don't say enough about my wonderful hubby. He does an incredible job balancing a demanding job and an equally demanding family (quality time is my love language.). He is an amazing Daddy! Kind, patient, loving, caring and fun! I got a glimpse into how he'd be as a father through Darcy, but I wasn't prepared for how much my heart would swell when I see him with Parker. I love watching them together. It is so precious to look over and see Keith showing P how to dance, throwing a ball, or tickling him. They are quite the pair! :)

HHI: Picture Night

We all went to dinner as a group on our last night. Since we were dressed up we headed to the beach when we got back for some pictures. Of course, the sun was perfectly positioned to be in our eyes making sunglasses necessary. Sorry Parker!
