Oops, I did it again!

In the last 5 years I have lost or broken 5 cameras. I'm currently in the market for camera #6. Any suggestions?

Steeplechase

After purchasing tickets in March, Steeplechase finally happened last Saturday! It was a gorgeous day and we had a great group.
We left our house at 9:30 a.m. to travel the 2.6 miles to Steeplechase...and arrived an hour later.
We spent the day with Joey and Lauren...
ran into Aimee and Nick...and hung out in our super cool mosquito net tent
(courtesy of Joey's dad)...which kept blowing away.
Besides the races...
Steeplechase is all about the hats! The guys...
The girls...and Keith and me :)

Flood in Pictures

Below are some pictures from around our neighborhood. See The Tennessean for images of the rest of Nashville, including Bellevue where Aimee lives.

We are so thankful to be safe and dry! Unfortunately, there are a lot of people that aren't. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers as the recovery process begins!

The May Day Flood

Nashville and the surrounding area has been devastated by extreme flooding over the past several days. Luckily, Keith and I, Keith's parents, and Aimee all escaped without any property damage, even though some of our neighbors weren't as fortunate. Yesterday evening we ventured out of the house to take a look around. Below is the basketball court in my neighborhood.

More pictures to come!
