SGI, FL

Usually when vacationing with Keith's parents we go to Isle of Palms, South Carolina, but this year we decided to try a different beach locale. St. George Island, Florida is a comparable distance and ranks number 8 on a list of top dog friendly beaches, which you know is important to us as the dogs of the family won't be left behind! The Friday before Memorial Day, Keith, Aimee, Nick and I headed down to St. George for our first visit (Keith's parents joined us the next day). After the most relaxing week filled with eating fresh seafood, enjoying beautiful sunsets and lots of dolphin (and some sting ray) sightings, I think I can say we will be back!

Here's one of my favorite pictures from the week.
More coming soon...

Photo Friday

Last weekend Keith, Darcy and I went canoeing on the Harpeth River with these guys:
Today we're all heading to the beach! (Plus, Nick, Jan, Susie and Oscar of course!)

I'm ready for some sun and seafood!

Almost There!

I LOVE how our fireplace is turning out. We're getting really close to being finished with everything, but we're not quite there yet. Here's a little peek at Keith putting up the last of the stone.
I'm super excited about the big reveal! Coming soon!

Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Yup. That pretty much sums up yesterday. I'll spare you the stressful details and share this video instead. Don't you just love a good engagement story? :)

Mr. and Mrs. Jensen

Last weekend we celebrated the wedding of Joey and Lauren. From a low-key Thursday night cookout to the rehearsal dinner at Brentwood Country Club (where Keith's speech was hilarious!) to the sweet ceremony (Joey teared up when he saw Lauren walking down the aisle) to the fun reception (dueling pianos- enough said), everything was so perfect! Joey and Lauren, Keith and I are so happy for you and wish you the best in your marriage!

Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Merry Mother's Day!

For Christmas, Keith and I got his parents, Aimee and Nick and us tickets to the symphony. More specifically, we got tickets to see Michael Cavanaugh perform with the Nashville Symphony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center... on May 7. That weekend also happened to be Mother's Day, so we combined the celebrations into one event. The show, which featured Michael Cavanaugh playing Billy Joel's biggest hits, was so entertaining and well worth the wait!

Roof with a View

I can not get over the view Ryan has from the roof of her building in San Francisco.
If you look to the left you see the Golden Gate Bridge.
Look straight ahead and there's the Bay and Alcatraz.
Look to the right and you see the San Francisco skyline.
Amazing!
