First things first, Baby Girl has a name! Eden Lynn Cronin is anticipated on or before (hopefully not after!) July 27, 2014! We played around with so many names before deciding on this one a while back, but we (Keith) still had a hard time committing until semi-recently. Eden stems from Eddy, a surname found on the Cronin side and Lynn is (was?) my middle name (how does that work after you get married and use your maiden name?). Turns out Lynn is also the middle name of one of my aunts as well as one of Keith's aunts.
Eden is on track to be bigger than her brother. She consistently measured a week ahead until my June 5 appointment and she was two weeks ahead. At my last appointment she was back to one week ahead- or technically about 1/2 a week ahead. Unfortunately, bigger does not mean earlier. Boo!
I've been having some carpal tunnel issues with my right hand resulting in the tips of three of my fingers being totally numb, lots of tingling, and some pain as well. I will never doubt people who complain about this condition again! My feet no longer fit into the majority (or any) of my shoes. Thanks swelling. I'm always hot. It is 90 degrees outside daily too though. I'm having heart burn much more frequently than with Parker (will Eden have hair??). I'm not sleeping well at all, often waking up at 3:15 without ever being able to go back to sleep. I also had the pleasure of taking the 3 hour glucose test after failing the first one with a score of 142. It was miserable. I don't mind the glucose drink all that much for the first test, but for the second test the drink was too sweet even for me. I really thought I was going to be sick. Thankfully, a friend goes to the same practice and happened to have an appointment that day so I was able to chat with her for a good while, which distracted me from the queasiness. I was so glad when I got the call that I passed the second time!
We can't wait for Eden to be here, but Keith and I decided we needed some adult only time before that day comes. Parker went to his Granddaddy and Mimi's house last weekend and Keith and I enjoyed a staycation.
We made one rule: NO HOUSE PROJECTS. Instead of checking things off our "to do" list, we basically ate our way around Nashville. We went to Blvd, Fido, Pinewood Social, Adele's, and Margot. Yes, all in one weekend. We also took a tour of Belle Meade Plantation (nerds, I know) and stopped by a couple of shops that get a lot of local attention (Two Old Hippies, White's Mercantile) and one on every tourist's check list (Antique Archeology- which turns out has more merchandise than "picks." Luckily, since I'm pregnant we got to skip the long line and go right in. We would have been really disappointed had we waited for that.). We squeezed in a couple of movies, a nap, and a quick stop at the mall where I bought a hat (not that I'm cool enough to pull it off by any means).

| The cauliflower salad is outstanding. I will go back just for it alone. |

| Adele's. Not super picturesque, but super delicious. |

What a wonderful and much needed weekend! We did miss Parker man, though I'm not sure he missed us all that much! He was too busy having a blast with and being spoiled by Mimi and Granddaddy!
