Summer!

We had a few big trips (Disney, Hilton Head, and Colorado), which have all been documented, but our summer together at home was pretty great too- hanging out at parks and festivals around town, strawberry picking, visiting Cheekwood and the zoo for the thousandth time, and just playing. Life with two littles is entertaining no matter where you are!
Poor E had a double ear infection :(

Eden's One Year Stats

At her 12 month well visit Eden was 28 inches tall (10th percentile), weighed 20 pounds (50th percentile), and had a head circumference of 18 inches (75th percentile). We've got a short, round, big brained, CUTE baby (who as of yesterday is 13 months old)!

Parker Says

Some cute and funny things Parker has been saying lately:

Darcy loves snuggling herself in the grass.
In the car after an outing: We had fun! We're still having fun!
Me to Parker at Nordstrom Rack: So what do you think? Should I get these shoes?
Par: No, let's go put them back! (someone's been hanging with Daddy too much!)

Anytime anyone has success on the potty: Good job! Do you want some M&Ms?! (M&Ms were his potty training treat.)

Me to Parker who was running around after his bath without pants: I see some cute buns!
Par: Yeah! There are some cute buns in here!

One of his favorite songs is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" which he sings at the top of his lungs. Only it sounds like "Twankle Twankle Little Star." He's southern for sure. ;)

Looks like it's going to rain today. (Even if it doesn't. He loves the weather.)

Me: Parker, what did you get me for my birthday?
Parker: A diamond!!!
Which he then told me that he lost.

Should we get one? (Every time he sees a car or construction truck or train he wants. )

We told him we were going to BIG mountains in Colorado. His response: We'll push E down the mountain in the stroller!

Darcy's great!

While listening to David Gray's song "Sail Away": I want to sail away with you mommy! Mommy, he has your heart in his hands??

Me: I'm not smart.
Parker: Mommy, you are smart!
(I went to a stop sign instead of using a red light during rush hour traffic and got stuck.)

Me: Singing...
Parker: Mommy! I want to stop that noise!

Par, eating a donut with sprinkles: There's a lot of colors in my mouth!

Parker to Eden when she wakes up from naps: Hey Peanut! (No idea where he came up with that since it's not one of our nicknames for her.)

Having a three year old is pretty hilarious, sweet, and humbling! ;)
