How has another month already gone by?! Eden seriously just turned 3 months! Slow down, time! My baby girl is growing TOO fast!
Things about Eden this month:
* Her face when she fusses herself to sleep is priceless. She's snoozing, but she's still sure to make it known that she's not happy about it by keeping that bottom lip stuck out.
* She'll suck her thumb or take a paci if she's sleepy.
* She's a pretty light sleeper. Keith jokes that she sleeps with one eye open. Except that he's not joking. ;)
* She's not very consistent with night time sleep. Some nights she'll go 6-7 hours before waking up and then others she'll wake every 3 hours (with more nights than not being the 3 hour intervals). She's always ready to go down for the night by 7, which frees me up to spend some time with Parker so that's nice, but she won't do a dream feed making getting all the way through the night pretty impossible.
* She still wants to be held a lot, but if she's not being held she prefers sitting up to lying down.
* She has quite the grip and holds on tight to toys, fingers, and hair!
* She loves to kick.
* She's not a huge fan of the car. She does better if I can sit in the back so she can see me.
* She's got some healthy lungs, which her Granddaddy can attest too since one night she screamed in his ear so loudly and for so long that he had to plug it with a tissue.
* She smiles at her brother constantly and he gets so excited saying, "E smiled!" and "E smiled again!"
* The girl is not ticklish. I've tried tickling her neck, toes, and everywhere in between and she just looks at me like I'm crazy.

Illinois/Indiana
A few weeks ago Parker, Eden, and I tagged along with Keith while he traveled to Illinois for work. When he finished up on Friday we drove to Indianapolis for the rest of the weekend. We learned that of our kiddos Parker is definitely our better traveler, but it was good to get away with just our little family of four.
Friday Parker, Eden, and I wen to a local apple orchard while Keith worked. Parker had a ball exploring, playing, and eating apple donuts. He didn't seem to mind that I decided against picking apples as planned (it was too windy and cold to stay any longer than we did!).
Keith wasn't quite finished when we left the orchard so I headed to the mall. It turned out to be a great idea because Parker took a nap as we strolled.
When Keith finished work we picked him up and stopped at a Chicago style pizza place for dinner before making the drive to Indy. The first thing on our agenda in Indianapolis was to visit the Children's Museum. It is said to be one of the best anywhere and it didn't disappoint. My favorite was the Chihuly in the center.
Before leaving town we took our car loving boy to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
And a walk by the canal (which was supposed to be pink for Breast Cancer Awareness but really looked like a creepy blood red) before getting into the car for the drive back.

We also went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Parker tried to get us kicked out by touching some sort of abstract display that essentially just looked like a bunch of door frames. Oops!
We spent that night watching the Ole Miss v. Alabama game- and what an awesome game it was! 23-17! Hotty Toddy! We watched the first half at a burger place and then headed back to the hotel for the second half. Keith and I were so excited during the game, but quickly realized that we needed to stay calm. Every time we cheered and yelled Parker's hyper level went up. Not what we needed in a hotel and at bed time. ;)Before leaving town we took our car loving boy to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
