Eden lately:
* She's started scrunching her nose and giving a big smile and laugh and it is the cutest.
* She's such a little climber.
* She says mama and dada and bye bye and baby. And I really think she said "Darc" one day.
* She's waving.
* She's finally pulling up on everything and cruising the furniture or fireplace.
* She's obsessed with Parker's plasma car and riding fire truck. It is hilarious to see her trying to swing her chubby little leg high enough to climb on.
* If she sees a snack she wants she's not afraid to snatch it- from my bag, off the counter, or right out of my hand!
* She loves drinking out of her new Camelbak water bottle. Parker is glad she got one of her own so she'll stop stealing his!
* She's getting the hang of walking (with help of course!). She could walk around holding onto my fingers all day long. It's brutal on my back. She kind of turns her left foot out and drags it, but she got a new pair of shoes (she's obsessed!) and wearing them is helping her learn to pick up her foot. She has started using her gator walker, which is nice, but I have to keep a close eye on her because if she gets going on the hardwood it gets away from her.
* She loves playing peek-a-boo, especially with her curtains.
* She shakes her head no all the time. Great. ;)
* She's taking two naps- usually. I can completely count on her morning nap, which is early- like 8:30am. Her afternoon naps vary though depending on what we're doing. She's still waking at least once, usually twice, during the night. She has slept all the way through ONE time in her short little life. ;)
* As of her first birthday she had 6 or 7 teeth (I can't remember exactly when that 7th popped through!) and there are more on the way.
* She's still a mama's girl, but squeals and bounces when she sees her daddy walk in the door after work.
* Her favorite books are flap books and My Little Word Book.
* She is not attached to any lovey or doll or stuffed animal, but she loves her swaddle blankets.
* She loves the coal from Parker's train and the drill bits from his tool set, her Pottery Barn chair (for climbing of course), "driving" in the car shopping cart at Publix (with her feet because both hands are full of snacks of course!), and Darcy's bed and green ball.
* She's still nice and chubby (her arm rolls have tan lines!) but we won't get her official stats until later this month. Until then, here are her 12 month photos...
