San Francisco!

Last week I (and 4 other girls) went to San Francisco to visit Ryan. While there we managed to squeeze in a little sightseeing at Alcatraz, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard Street and Fisherman's Wharf, eat clam chowder, hang out at Alamo Square Park where the "Painted Ladies" (aka Full House homes) are located, go to Napa, bike across the Golden Gate Bridge and visit Sausalito. It was a full and fun girls' getaway!*

*Don't feel sorry for Keith. A few weeks before my vacay, he went to Las Vegas on a guys' trip. There would be a post, but he didn't take any pictures!

Here are just a few pictures from my trip to San Francisco:
Alcatraz- Did you know that the children of the correctional officers lived on the island?
Ghirardelli Square
walking up Hyde Street
to Lombard Street- the crookedest street in the world
Fisherman's Wharf
Pier 39
Clam chowder at Alioto's-
one of San Francisco's oldest restaurants
Full House homes at Alamo Square Park
Ryan's rooftop view-
That's Alcatraz in the background.
Napa...
Francis Ford Coppola's vineyard
and Oscar
Beginning of our 8 mile bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge-
The actual bridge is only 2 miles.
San Francisco from SausalitoI can not wait to go back! I may even take Keith next time. ;)
