My baby is almost one! I am in complete shock that time has passed so quickly. Slow down, time!
For our monthly photo shoot I just had to snap what I could get since someone doesn't like sitting in one place for too long...
Parker,
At 10 months old you really added a lot of foods to your "likes" list. You're eating pears, peaches, carrots, butternut squash ravioli, yellow squash, mushrooms, corn, green peas, and mashed red potatoes with butter and garlic. You LOVE bread, just like your Daddy. You've tasted cinnamon rolls and a donut hole, both of which you approved. You've also tried lasagna, refried beans and spinach, but you weren't a fan of any of those foods. Two of your top teeth popped through at the beginning of your 10th month. As far as play, you're loving hide and seek, opening and closing things over and over (doors, cabinets, books, baby laptop), and banging your dresser drawer pulls. You've discovered shadows and it is so cute to watch you. You are making a noise that sounds a lot like "doodle" with your tongue. You still haven't said "mama". You squeal and flail your arms when you get excited, which is usually when you see Darcy or when your Daddy gets home from work. You may look like your Daddy, but you furrow your brow and you're stubborn, both Mommy traits. You want to be standing constantly, even when you're drinking a bottle. You have decided that you despise your carseat and it is a nightmare sometimes getting you buckled into it. I think it's time for an upgrade ASAP! You went on your first flight and were an amazing little traveler. You are laughing a ton and are so ticklish. We love it!! The biggest news from this month though is that you finally started sleeping through the night! We decided to try the "Cry It Out" method even though we'd experimented with it a little before and it didn't work. This time, on the first night you woke up after about 4 hours and stayed awake for 45 minutes, alternating between sitting quietly with your lovey and blanket and standing and crying. Then you went back to sleep. You woke up again about 3 hours later and whimpered a little bit before falling back to sleep. You woke up for the morning at 6:05- 11.5 hours after you went to bed! The next night you slept 11 hours with no crying or standing! We are so proud and excited about getting a little more rest from here on out!
