Eden: One Month!

Based on Eden's due date she was only going to be 13 days old on August 9, but since she had plans of her own that date actually marked her one month birthday! And what a wonderful month it has been!

Obviously I'm not used to having a girl since E is bow-less in these pics. ;)

 

Eden is quickly showing us that she is her own (perfect) person. Parker didn't spit up, loved to swing, wouldn't ultimately take a paci (after briefly doing so), hated to be swaddled, had a blast in the bath, and couldn't stand tummy time. Eden? The exact opposite of all of the above. Eden has also had some initial trouble eating (P's eating style was nicknamed barracuda) and has a minor case of reflux, but so far she's a pretty good sleeper (P not so much until recently). She loves to be held and snuggled. She has even been known to wake up in the middle of the night not to eat but to cuddle.

One thing E & P seem to have in common is that they enjoy spending time outside. E thinks it is a great place to nap.

Eden, your Daddy and I adore you!

And your brother is getting there ;)

We can't wait to watch you grow, just don't grow too fast!
