Eden is 2!

Random Facts about Eden:
* Wasn't a fan of having "Happy Birthday" sung to her. She would hide her face and say "no! no! no!" She also wasn't interested in blowing out her birthday candles. Luckily, Parker was happy to handle that job.
* Still mostly calls Parker "Bubba" but has also started saying "Part-her."
* Yells "home!" every time we pull into the driveway.

* Bounces around yelling "ready!" every morning after she's dressed and anytime its time to go.
* Her pink horse lovey is now "Wade" just like Parker's giraffe lovey. She also has a dog, Dee (of the Mr. Magee and Dee books).

* Great at spitting when brushing teeth. (notable because Parker is 4 and has just gotten the hang of it.)
* Obsessed with blowing her nose. She always needs a tissue or nap nap (napkin).
* Totally interested in the potty, but mainly just because she thinks its fun to sit on it, flush, and wash hands. ;)
* Every night we read books before bed and I always hear "one more" before I even get the last sentence out from the one we're currently reading.
* Only movie she's half way watched is The Little Mermaid. We've joked that when she sings she sounds like the seagull making noises in every key.

* We've also joked that she sounds like the pigeons from Finding Nemo: "mine, mine, mine, mine!" And sometimes, "ALL mine!"

* Only child I know that fusses more forward facing in her car seat. From the back I constantly hear: "out, out, out, out!" or "nack, nack, nack, nack! (snack)!" or "here, here, here, here!" if she's trying to hand me something.

* Sleeps with 5 swaddle blankets, 2 other small blankets, Wade (lovey), Dee, a bull we got in Spain, a dog she got for her birthday, and her Bla Bla pillow. At a minimum. Its a little ridiculous. ;)

* "Cheeeeese!" when I pull my camera out. Or "No!"
* For a while she wouldn't say no that often but would shake her head or say "uh uh." Now she has no problem and I hear "no" multiple times a day.
* "A bite! A bite!" of everyone's food at every meal or snack.
* Points to body parts on her stuffed animals, herself, or me, then names and repeats each one approximately 500 times before moving to the next.

* Loves: fruit; Popsicles; coloring; Bubba; stuffed animals (not into her babies); jumping (it's hilarious! She puts forth so much effort and barely leaves the ground); being upside down (I'm planning to start gymnastics when Par goes back to school); dipping her food; pockets; dump trucks, trains, and balls; swinging
* First 2 word phrase: Pirate's Booty
* Favorite foods: fruit; Popsicles; mac & cheese (or any pasta noodles really); fruit gummies (which she rarely gets); sweet potatoes; deli turkey (as of late); pizza. She loves to eat! It doesn't matter where she is if anyone goes into the kitchen she's not far behind.

* Favorite books: any word/picture books; Parker's Thomas the Train books; Extraordinary Jane; Biscuit stories.

* Favorite expressions: Yeah! (It never gets old when we ask a question to someone else and she chimes in "yeah!") See! Hooooold! Up! Hiiii! Mommy!

* Favorite animals: dogs; ducks; bunnies.
* For a bit she became paci obsessed. Totally out of nowhere since she never attached to one as a baby!

* Every time I go into my closet she shuts the door on me and says BYE!! 

* Nail biter.
* WIGGLE WORM.
* Runs like a penguin.
* Has replaced "wa wa" with "water."
* Says "weeeeee! and "woah!" when I'm driving.

* For awhile she preferred to strut (and yes, she struts) around diaper only. Now she'll wear clothes, but she likes to pick them out herself.

* She has really started doing so much better with others- especially family. She stays in the nursery during church and goes to her own Sunday School class. There are tears, some Sundays more than others, but she's making progress!
* Still rock to her sleep at nap time, but put her down awake at night.
* She laughs all the time and it is the best. It is not dainty or feminine at all.
* Calls herself "Edie" which is interesting since this is the nickname we use the least.
* We have a 25 pound, 32.5 inch TWO YEAR OLD!
