Mr. and Mrs. Billips

After 18 months of planning and parties... they're married! The weekend started with (desperately needed) manis and pedis Friday morning. That afternoon Becky arrived in Nashville to a not so friendly welcome from Darcy. Darcy warmed up to her quickly though and misses Becky now that she's gone.

Friday night was the rehearsal at Calvary (which has the longest aisle in Middle TN) and dinner at Richland Country Club.
Saturday everyone was up early for hair and makeup appointments. Ann Claire kept her dress a secret until her wedding day, so all 11 bridesmaids were at the church around 2:00 for the big reveal.
She was stunning!

Pre-ceremony hamburger :)

After the sweet ceremony the wedding party hopped on a trolley and headed for the reception at the University Club. Everything was beautiful, but the highlight was Will's cake.

They're off to St. Lucia for a week!
Ann Claire was one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen, and Will was such a sweet groom. We're so happy for them and wish them the best in their marriage!

So You Think You Can Dance...

So we all know that Keith and I aren't the best dancers (although I will admit that we have discussed who is the better dancer between the 2 of us). BUT, So You Think You Can Dance has to be one of my favorite shows, and it's back on Fox. I couldn't be more excited! You'll know where I'll be Wednesday and Thursday nights this summer.

Jill and Ben

Last weekend Keith and I were in Mobile for Jill and Ben's wedding. Everything from the bridesmaid luncheon to the rehearsal to the reception was so nice and went off without a hitch. Keith and I had a great time reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. We're so happy for Jill and Ben and honored to have been a part of their special day!
Me with the Bride-to-Be at the Rehearsal Dinner Bridesmaids Keith and I explored downtown Mobile Saturday morning. She's married! The ceremony was so sweet. Of course when she cried, I did. The reception was so fun. We danced all night!
Lindsey and me! Such a great friend from my first couple of years at Samford... and she's shorter than me! I was so excited to see her! Keith and I had a great time with her and her new husband!

My favorite :) We're at the Bragg Mitchell mansion before the reception. It is such a beautiful, historic home.
Ben had the best chocolate cake for his groom's cake.
Getting ready to say goodbye...and they're off to St. Thomas!

2 Posts in 1 Day!

Obviously, it's a little slow at work, and obviously, it will be another Greece post. Food is a priority in the Cronin household, and our meals in Greece did not disappoint!
We started the trip off right with Philly Cheesesteaks at the Philadelphia airport.
We immediately ate lunch upon our arrival in Mykonos...
after 24 hours of traveling.
I think we ate Greek Salads and bread everyday.
The things in the back are stuffed zucchini. Our first dinner in Mykonos was beachside... and delicious! We ate breakfast in Mykonos every morning
while enjoying this view.
We tried to eat authentic Greek cuisine.
Keith ordered mousaka, which we think is basically lasagna.
In Santorini our first dinner consisted of
fried tomatoes and zucchini...
swordfish kebobs...

and this view!

We ate at Kyprida one night and got to enjoy
a sunset view on the balcony.
There was a bakery close to our hotel with the
most amazing strawberry pie.
Day 2 in Santorini we tackled an 8 mile hike from Fira to Oia.
We stopped at this cafe for frappes (iced coffee).
Please notice the sign.
We also had frappes in Athens. Our last dinner in Santorini was at Santorini Mou.
Jennifer Anniston and Green Day have eaten here.
The owner took our picture, which will be
posted on the restaurant's wall.
He also serenaded us after dinner.

Our last day in Satorini we had lunch in the little fishing port of Ammoudi Bay...and dessert back in Oia after walking up 300+ stairs.

Bakalava...yum!

Keith asked for breadsticks on the ferry from Santorini to Athens.
They gave him a hamburger bun... ha! In Athens we had appetizers at a sidewalk cafe.
Fried zucchini and tzatziki.
We're obsessed with tzatziki and even bought a mix
to bring home and make it.
And lastly, you can't go to Greece without eating a chicken gyro.

Photo Thursday

Before we left for Greece we did a lot of research- where to stay, what to do, where to eat, etc. During this research I discovered that there are a lot of strays on the Greek Islands. I had forgotten about that discovery until we reached Santorini. There were dogs on the cobblestone streets, in the shops and restaurants, and even one napping on the roof of a building! Thankfully, most seemed to have homes, and all were definitely living the good life!

We missed Darcy so much, but we found her look a like!
Keith and I are in Mobile this weekend for Jill and Ben's wedding, but I'll post more pictures from Greece next week!
