2 Posts in 1 Day!

Obviously, it's a little slow at work, and obviously, it will be another Greece post. Food is a priority in the Cronin household, and our meals in Greece did not disappoint!
We started the trip off right with Philly Cheesesteaks at the Philadelphia airport.
We immediately ate lunch upon our arrival in Mykonos...
after 24 hours of traveling.
I think we ate Greek Salads and bread everyday.
The things in the back are stuffed zucchini. Our first dinner in Mykonos was beachside... and delicious! We ate breakfast in Mykonos every morning
while enjoying this view.
We tried to eat authentic Greek cuisine.
Keith ordered mousaka, which we think is basically lasagna.
In Santorini our first dinner consisted of
fried tomatoes and zucchini...
swordfish kebobs...

and this view!

We ate at Kyprida one night and got to enjoy
a sunset view on the balcony.
There was a bakery close to our hotel with the
most amazing strawberry pie.
Day 2 in Santorini we tackled an 8 mile hike from Fira to Oia.
We stopped at this cafe for frappes (iced coffee).
Please notice the sign.
We also had frappes in Athens. Our last dinner in Santorini was at Santorini Mou.
Jennifer Anniston and Green Day have eaten here.
The owner took our picture, which will be
posted on the restaurant's wall.
He also serenaded us after dinner.

Our last day in Satorini we had lunch in the little fishing port of Ammoudi Bay...and dessert back in Oia after walking up 300+ stairs.

Bakalava...yum!

Keith asked for breadsticks on the ferry from Santorini to Athens.
They gave him a hamburger bun... ha! In Athens we had appetizers at a sidewalk cafe.
Fried zucchini and tzatziki.
We're obsessed with tzatziki and even bought a mix
to bring home and make it.
And lastly, you can't go to Greece without eating a chicken gyro.
