3 Day Weekends...

...are the best! I have the day off tomorrow (yay!) so I have another day before I have to start mentally preparing myself for the work week. Darcy and I have been home alone this weekend while Keith has been at a friend's bachelor party. His college friend and fraternity brother, Chris Simmons, is getting married in Atlanta in February. I had a Girls Night with Ann Claire and Angie, took care of some errands and took Darcy on some long walks (or in her case runs). It's been nice to be able to relax and take a break from house projects (well, for the most part. I am happy to announce that my closet is officially finished).

Keith and I closed on our house in mid-July.

It's definitely been a "fixer-upper," which is fun- most of the time. Instead of hiring people, we're taking on all of the projects ourselves. We've come a long way! Of course, we couldn't have done it alone. Keith's family has been so helpful and have gone above and beyond. Thank goodness they're handy!
